ORANGE COUNTY RESTAURANTS OPEN THANKSGIVING 2024

I don’t know about you, but I love to eat at a restaurant on Thanksgiving! While some may find it impersonal, it’s quite the opposite for me. The energy in the restaurant is vibrant and alive. People are laughing and having a wonderful time, and there is a buzz of anticipation throughout the room. Chefs put out their finest dishes, and the entire staff is at the top of their game. Hospitality abounds.

To find the perfect eatery, I research online, selecting some of the nicest restaurants we can afford, compare menus and prices, make my selection, and call for a reservation.

I like to get dressed up, sometimes buying a new outfit for the occasion. We usually eat around 2 p.m., which gives us plenty of time to relax around the house before we go out. And it also gives us plenty of time for the food to digest before we go to bed. Champagne is a must once I get there, making this very special day even more so. If it’s a buffet, we definitely take our time with each course so as to savor the food and the moment.
